My summer roomie, Jill, took a photo of this today and made it into a postcard to send to her folks. Then my everything-but-summer roomie, Michelle, posted this today on Tumblr. Meant to be! I love both of these gals for showing me this and I can’t wait to see it in person.

I’ve just found out that Steve Powers is coming to Philly in August to unveil a project called “Love Letter,” which is, as the name suggests, a “love letter spanning 50 walls and roof tops.” The ‘letter’ - a series of murals that will stretch for 20 city blocks - is intended to be “for West Philly, from West Philly.”
That’s pretty damn romantic if you ask me.
And yes, West Philly - If I was there, I’d be home. I can’t WAIT to get home and see this project!
